Edmonton has one of the longest recreational pathways of any city in the world, including paved and unpaved trails. Although bikes have suspension and roots/ruts on a pathways really don't make that much of a difference, it's down right hazardous to anyone on a eSk8 doing 50Kph. Using Google Maps and Trailforks, please post a picture of your favorite pathway and the level of skill needed for it. Google Maps: link
Trailforks: linkHere is the smoothest path that I have found in the city, no roots or ruts for 2km (summer 2017) but the heaves will give your legs a really good workout from doing squats OTH (over the hump). You can get tossed launched into the air as well @ 45kph. As this is a shared pathway in a dog park (Dawson Dog Park). You have to prepared to stop on a dime or take a dive as a dog will get its nose to the ground and will cross in front of you without looking, their owners aren't much better....... Good place to take your dog for a run as there's grass on each side of the pathway and a drinking fountain mid pathway for clean water. Good fun!
