Edmonton has one of the largest recreational pathways of any city in the world, including paved and unpaved trails. Unofficial trails exist from Devon to Ft. Saskatchewan via the Edmonton River alley Parkway. Although some bikes have suspension and roots/ruts on a pathways really don't make that much of a difference, it's down right hazardous to anyone on an ebike doing 50Kph on pea gravel over top of hardpack clay. Its downright difficult to find fast single/double track that you don't loose a grip on. So when possible, do some path clearing on your trek. Pedestrians, dogs, mobility devices all have a right to use the trail just as much as you do....Announce yourself, give them way and be courteous even if they're not. Trail etiquette is another post, more like a rant for me. Using Google Maps or Trailforks, please post a picture of your favorite pathway and the level of skill needed for it.
